SpyBot1.3/1.4 Search and DestroyThis anti spyware application Spybot1.3 has features/adjustments such as browsermanager integration for spyware detection, bug report confirmation, scheduler, fixed settings at automated program start and more in this spybot v1.3 - now version 1.4 already and by some also written as spybott search, spybott s&d or spybott search and destroy. Earlier adjustments were: snapshot functionality in the system startup, a new contect menu entry, language selection to display text in its own code page, information dialog during system restore, the implementation of a new incfilemanager for speedy reading of the inc files at the start. Now there's also a delay window at start-up, it also supports encrypted language files, statistics are available, a browse dialog for sounds, a 'good -search-result' sound, encrypting the proxy settings, a helptool for uninstall. Also now available: descriptions to tools start page, a new lsp manager added to support snapshots, new templates for the shredder section, system start-up report now features the filesize, and much more... If you have an earlier version you may update the application by clicking on 'Online' in the navigation bar, next click on 'Update', search and select the available updates, then select the for you appropriate download location and activate the download process. As the spybot1.3 - it's actually version 1.4 now - is still freeware, the download page also states some information about a donation you can make if, after trying the software, you like its performance. That sure is really fair.
